As of September 2017, more than 3,000 websites were blocked in Mainland China under the country's Internet censorship policy which prevents users from accessing proscribed websites in the country.
This is a list of the most notable such blocked websites in the country. This page does not apply to the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau, where most of Chinese law does not apply in both region's.
Note that many of the sites listed may be occasionally or even regularly available, depending on the access location or current events.
